how does RM300 helps UNDERPRIVILEGED families？

There are many people in our society still struggling to survive at poverty line. Whenever they are hit by a sudden crisis, such as: road accident, serious illness or became disabled, their lives will immediately fall into dilemma. They might not meet the requirement to get public welfare support or unable to receive immediate assistance. Hence becoming what we categorize as “Crisis Family”.
Through our trained volunteers from 7979 Holistic Care Stations, we visit poor families in our care community who have financial difficulties due to family crisis, to give spiritual comfort and distribute crisis relief aid four months (RM200 to RM300 per month). Poor and underprivileged families are the most vulnerable group in the society. We hope by distributing Manna Food Bags, which worth about RM200, bimonthly to lessen their burden and enable them to spend more on other urgent needs, such as medical expenses or children's education.

Underprivileged children refer to children from financially disadvantaged families such as single parent, cross generation parenting, hardcore poor, slow learners, orphans and others. Through companionship classes of 7979 Holistic Care Station, we hope to have close contact with children to care for them, provide homework guidance, life education and family care.
