(For English please scroll down) Blessings in the Corner 7979 Guide & Care · Written by Sow Yee The loud car honks continued, the wipers swung rapidly, and the thunder rumbled. The mother looked at her watch again and again as time passed. While turning the signal light to the right, she searched for the small figure of her daughter around the school gate. "Over there!" She got out of the car quickly as she saw Jing Luo (pseudonym) and covered her with an umbrella while getting into the car.
Back home, the hectic mother shuttles between the kitchen and the living room, reheating the previously prepared food. Even though the mother was rushing out, she would not forget to touch her child's hair and remind her, "Mom is leaving, remember to eat!" Jing Luo, as usual, remained silent and nodded in response to her mother. Jing Luo lowered her head as she heard the iron gate close, and thought, "I'm left alone at home again..." Due to inflation, Jing Luo’s mother, who raised Jing Luo by herself, had to leave her at home alone. As a result, Jing Luo developed a quiet personality. Jing Luo's family was once introduced to the accompanying class of Southern Ipoh Presbyterian Church. The person in charge, Teacher Bai Qin, felt sorry for Jing Luo's experience. Teacher Bai Qin and Jing Luo's mother work in the same company, and God appears to have sent a "snail girl" to Jing Luo's family early on. Teacher Bai Qin finds volunteers to visit Jing Luo's home on a particular day and introduces Southern Ipoh's accompanying class to Jing Luo's mother. At first, they thought they could take the child to the accompanying class smoothly. "I don't want to go to the accompanying class, I like to be alone at home." The girl slowly said. Her mom’s mind went blank, and she froze for a moment. Only then did she realize that Jing Luo was reluctant to socialize with others because she was alone for too long. Later, Teacher Bai Qin ran into Jing Luo's mother taking Jing Luo to work together. Jing Luo curled up and hid under the table. When someone occasionally came up and talked to her, her eyes would go blank and give no response. Whenever this scene got recalled, even if the teachers are busy and tired, they still care about them now and then. Eventually, one day, the mother called to inform the teachers that Jing Luo was willing to go to the accompanying class! Jing Luo's eyes were dull when she first came to the accompanying class. No matter what the teacher said, she kept staring blankly at the front and waited quietly. The teachers sighed secretly, patted each other on the shoulders, and said silently: "Keep it up!" Then, during the school days, the teachers continued to accompany Jing Luo and the other children in the accompanying class, reading, eating, and having fun together every day. In this way, day after day, the teacher worked hard to give Jing Luo a sense of belonging to the accompanying class so that Jing Luo could naturally mingle with other students. The church also specially arranged transportation so she could participate in Sunday school. Today, during lunch in the accompanying class, as usual, a teacher talked with Jing Luo. Jing Luo suddenly said: "I don't know." The words came out of her mouth softly. The teacher was stunned for a moment: "Hey! Jing Luo responded!" She changed from having no response at the beginning to saying: "I don't know"! Although it was an insignificant change, a simple "I don't know." Jing Luo is willing to communicate with the teacher! Water a seed with care, and as it breaks through the ground and sprouts, all the hard work is not in vain! With hearted accompaniment, a still life slowly grew tender leaves, and her life became different. Comments are closed.
